The Cancer Journey

My little sister is battling breast cancer. She is only thirty-three years old. On December 30th, she will be having a double mastectomy followed by radiation. She has had months or chemo leading up to her surgery and she has worked the entire time. My family and I are of course helping her, but any bit will make a difference.  This time she will not be able to work for an extended time and this has given her heightened  anxiety. Christine has pride and is a hard worker. Please do not share this with her, as I plan to surprise her after her surgery. Just taking the time to read this has filled my heart and I am grateful for each of you.
