Robert Callahan unexpectedly passed away in Myrtle Beach on Saturday, July 30th. The family was in Myrtle while attending their daughter Katelyn's national softball tournament.

Robert was an amazing father and husband. He brought positive energy and an infectious spirit to every situation. He was the team's biggest fan and could be found making his home run sprint after every homerun Katelyn's team hit. His sprint would include running around to all the Lightning fans, saying, "You know it's coming, get 'em up," and giving high fives to everyone in the crowd.

Robert is survived by his wife Carolyn, son Jonathan and daughter Katelyn. The unexpected passing has devasted the family emotionally and has left them with unforeseen medical and funeral bills that they need help covering the cost.

Katelyn is about to begin her junior year of high school, and with college on the horizon, the family hopes that donations will offset these unexpected costs.
