A couple of my closest friends could really benefit from your prayers - Tracy & Andy would do anything for anyone without any hesitation and are some of the sweetest people that I know. Please read Tracy’s story.
In January 2021 Tracy started having some ongoing pelvic pain and went to get it checked out.
Fast forward to April 21st - Tracy had a full hysterectomy as well as removal of her appendix and during surgery, they did not get the answers they were expecting to: “During surgery the doctors found out my "cysts" or abnormal masses were actually boarderline malignant tumors. There was also one on my appendix. The doctors and Andy decided together that to be on the safe side they would go ahead and do a full hysterectomy and remove my appendix. They also removed some thin fatty liner of my abdomen (omentuim) that tumors like to attach to, just to be safe. I was in surgery for about 4 hours..."
Those tumors were sent to another lab to be dissected more and see what kind of cancer it in fact is. If they find there, that the tumors are only boarderline malignant, I shouldn't need any further treatment. We will hear lab results in a few days.”
On May 13th after many days of anticipation, Tracy went in for her post-op check up and received even more devastating news. The results of her multiple biopsies were looked at by more pathologists and the result is that Tracy was diagnosed with stage 3 borderline ovarian cystuadenocarcinoma. Tracy's appendix, omentuim & perineal washings all tested positive for this tumor.. Tracy has a very positive and uplifted outlook towards hearing this, she has made special changes to her diet on top of already working hard in her new low-carb lifestyle. She is the last person on earth that needs to receive this type of news. Her and Andy have had a tremendously emotional year in 2020 and early 2021 and this just adds to unneeded stress in their life.
Tracy has an upcoming appointment on May 21st to collaborate with an oncology team to determine the next steps in her journey as far as chemo goes.
All proceeds will be going towards Tracy’s journey for medical costs. Prayers are always encouraged and appreciated if you do not have the monetary means to help them during this time.
