Our special friend, Joe Burton, has been in the hospital for the last several of months while his wife Jamie has tried to keep their 12 year old daughter, Jadyn, active with her school, sports, and other life activities while also trying to manage finances, medical bills, groceries, etc... and their Thunder Softball Family is reaching out to all of our friends, family, and fans to help support this family in need. We do not know exactly how long Joe will be hospitalized but we do know their family really needs our help during this very difficult time.
I would personally like to share with everyone reading this campaign a personal message that hopefully will help encourage everyone to send their prayers for this family and donate if possible as they certainly have and would if needed. Here is the type of people we are asking for support...
The Burton family joined our softball family when Jadyn was 7 years old and over that time period we have had several families that needed support in some form or fashion. The very first family to always step up to help these families in need was the Burton family. I can personally remember at least a handful of instances that Joe Burton has donated money, bats, gloves, etc... to help other families in need. The best part of this story is that Joe always asked to stay anonymous. He never wanted anyone to know that he was the person "giving" to these families in need. Not just once or twice, but every single time we have ever reached out for support this family has always been there to support.
Well folks, now is our time to pay it forward for Joe and his family and show our love through prayer and/or donation. Thak you all in advance!
