The Buell family after Scott’s heart transplant.

Hi my name is Lauren and I am fundraising for the Buell family. Mary was very against asking for help as they are such a private family. However, after a lot of discussion she has agreed. Mary and Scott have silently been through a couple challenging years. Scott has been battling heart failure and was put on a transplant list. On September 20th they got the call that Scott was going to get his new heart. By September 21st the surgery was done and Scott is now on his long road to recovery. Mary is living in hospital housing as she supports and cares for Scott and their two young boys. Because of the lengthy recovery, they will both be out of work for a decent amount of time. All money will go to supporting their kids, meals, their bills back at home, and their bills that a procedure like this brings.
