Hi there!
My name is Laika and I'm a waking dream designer based in New Mexico. A group of friends and I recently cooked up a piece of interactive theater called The Brothel, a sensual performance space and broth-drinking ritual that merges eroticism and age-old forms of nourishment.
It debuted at a private festival in Summer of 2024 and now we're hoping to take the show to more unexpected places.
Your donation will support us in the following ways:
- Buying audio equipment, which we were able to borrow for our debut performance
- Building a stage that we can use for repeat performances
- Paying for part of a trailer so we can take the show on the road
- Helping us increase our capacity for making and serving homemade bone broth as part of the show. All the broth we serve is made from locally-sourced bones and each batch is created over the course of several days
- Supporting our artists, who have given great amounts of love, time, and money to the project
- Licensing "We Are the World" for a critical group singalong moment **
