Hello!
My name is Brooke. In February 2024, I traveled to Liberia, Africa with my mother. My mother’s humanitarian work throughout my childhood, inspired me to help others.
During our trip, we visited a school in Liberia. While I was there, several students my age told me that they could not afford their school tuition because their parents (mostly single mothers) were struggling to pay school fees. Without hesitation, I promised to help. Four months after my visit, I founded The Brooke Gates Project (BGp) which supports international humanitarian projects. I used savings from my part-time job in a grocery store — along with support from my parents and generous donors, to extend my support beyond the girls who asked for help.
During the 2024-25 school year, BGp awarded a Brooke Gates Tuition Scholarship to over 50 students across nine schools in Liberia. As I prepare for college, my commitment to these students remains strong. I am asking for your support to help them pay their tuition so they can stay in school.
Presently, BGp is focused on Liberia, Africa and intends to expand to other underserved countries in the future.
Your donation can change a life. The average annual tuition is just $125 (USD).
All donations will go towards the K-12 students school tuition, supplies, and supporting The Brooke Gates Project.
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a tremendous impact. Thank you for joining me in this meaningful cause!
