The broken leg saga

Hello,

We are setting up a fundraiser to help with this emergency.

2 days ago, my spouse was using our e-bike and got pushed off the road (which he was on legally and safely) by a reckless driver.

Sadly, there was no cameras nearby and he didnt see the car or license plate (they were passing him and swerved towards him to push him off then sped off without stopping.)

He crashed and absolutely anihilated the heads of his tibia and fibula.

He had to take 1 ambulance to 1 hospital then transfered to another hospital (via a 2nd ambulance).

Multiple xrays, multiple cat scans, 2 surgeries, etc.

Hospital stay, physical therapy.

The 2nd surgery is set for tomorrow so we are still in the middle of it all.

We have no inssurance (usa) since he had just started a new job.

The main house bills were taken care of by him.

This gofundme is to help paying the hospital bill, recovery-related tools/equipment, as well as the house bills until he can return to work.

We do not have the hospital bills yet, as it's not over yet.

(Yes, we are trying to get with the Indigent program to lower the bills as well).

Any donation will help!

I will update with further informations/proofs of bills/etc. as we receive them!

And yes, i am doing my best to work as much as I can but I am and will be the one to care for him fulltime once he gets home, so working opportunities will be limited.
