The Brock family are well known among their friends, neighbors, co-workers, and teammates but few have known the struggles their family has faced this year.
In 2017 Tom was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He underwent a procedure for this disease and suffered a stroke on both sides of his brain. This has affected both his speech and walking. He has numerous doctor's visits as well as physical therapy.
His wife, Kathy, and their four children have stepped up in every way to care for Tom and for one another.
Tom has worn many hats in his life being an athlete, husband, father, coach and provider for his family. As a result from Parkinson's Tom was let go from his job putting even more stress on the family.
The Brocks are the very first to help someone and have not wanted anyone to feel pity for them. They have always been the ones to be there for others in times of need.
