The Brininstool Family

Hi, my name is Katie, and my family and I, like many of you, want to show the Brininstools how much we love and care for them as they begin their cancer battle.

Tracy was diagnosed in October 2022 with an aggressive form of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma called Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma. This type of blood cancer will require several months of chemotherapy. After a frustrating start full of unnecessary obstacles, including insurance battles and not-so-fun medical procedures, Tracy received her first round of chemo in November. The plan is for five more.

If you know Tracy and Andy, you know they are some of the most generous, good-hearted people around. Tracy was very hesitant about this fundraiser as she worried that other people are likely in a worse position than them and she hated the thought of asking for money. I think we all can understand that sentiment, but in this case, for this sweet family, who give so much to others, they deserve all the support we can muster.

I'm hoping this money will help relieve at least a small part of the financial as well as the emotional stress cancer brings with it. Maybe it will help pay down their high deductible that starts over in January, or perhaps it will allow them a relaxing weekend getaway.

Either way, I know they will appreciate every penny given, and they WILL feel our love.
