The Bridge IT for Bradford Central Foodbank

Unfortunately Bradford Foodbank is in serious trouble and may well close without help, the Foodbank will be homeless unless they raise the deposit to buy The Jubilee Centre by mid Nov. They’ve used Jubilee Centre since Covid and are still feeding over 1000 people a month - double preCovid levels.

With the numbers of people using foodbanks higher than pre covid it’s so vital they can remain open to support people in the Bradford community who will otherwise go without food.

A number of foodbank volunteers & supporters including some of the team at The Bridge IT are going to be fasting for three days to raise money so that Bradford Foodbank can keep operating.

More information about The Light Church Bradford Trust: Bradford Central Foodbank is hosted by the Light Church Trust and provides food for thousands of people in need every year. Alongside this work, we provide CAP Debt Help services, run a job club, host a TLG school for kids at risk of exclusion. Alongside all of this we are a church that seeks to be a community of compassion filled believers growing in our love for God and our community.
