My name is Heather Cummings. My sister is Brianne Olson and I am setting this gofundme up to try to help her.

Erik Olson was a fun-loving husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially at the beach. A type one diabetic from childhood, Erik went in for open-heart surgery which was meant to give him a new lease on life. Unfortunately, despite excellent work by the surgeon, incredible care by hospital staff, and the faith and prayers of many family and friends, Erik suffered a stroke during recovery. He passed away July 12, 2022. Erik’s wife Brianne is now a young widow with four of her six children still living at home under her care.
