The Northcutt family has established this memorial fund for Velma Northcutt to provide for educational and other necessary expenses for her granddaughters, Elizabeth and Julie Kaufman, following the sudden death of their father, Brian Kaufman, from a heart attack at the age of 39.
Elizabeth, 19, is a sophomore at IUPUI majoring in psychology. She was active in high school as a cheerleader and graduated with academic honors in three and one half years. She plans to graduate from IUPUI with a BS in Clinical Psychology and to pursue a career in either child protective services or substance abuse.
Julie, 17, is a senior at Beech Grove High School where she has anchored for the school news and has excelled in drama as an actress in school plays. She has held leadership roles as class president and theater president. She plans to attend college to earn degrees in Business and Communications to prepare for a career as a news anchor or an owner of a fashion boutique.
Any donations which can help the girls achieve their goals will be greatly appreciated by the family. To spread the word about this fund, you can share the link with family and friends.
