that do not take insurance, but are aligned with my body, my history, and my values. I need help covering these costs so I can heal safely and completely.

How This Started

On September 8th, I went in for a biopsy. Days later, the call came: breast cancer.

I’m scheduled for lumpectomy surgery on both breasts on October 24th. My 91-year-old mother is flying in from California to be with me, which means the world.

My surgeon recommended radiation and five years of medication.

But after everything I’ve lived through — trauma, disability, and decades of chronic pain — I’m choosing a holistic and integrative approach that focuses on nutrition, functional medicine, supplementation, and frequency-based healing. These methods have real evidence behind them, but they are completely out-of-pocket.

My Life Before This

Most people don’t know I’ve lived in physical pain since I was 16 due to a spinal injury.

For the last three years, I could barely walk from excruciating pain — until August 2024, when I finally found relief. I thought I was finally stepping into a new beginning.

I moved to Tennessee, thrilled for a fresh start in my beautiful new apartment.

But on my very first night, as I lay in bed, I felt a burning sensation… and then a lump appeared right in my hand.

It felt surreal. After surviving trauma, disability from a TBI, PTSD, and years of pain… I truly thought I had earned a break.

Life had other plans.

Why I’m Asking for Help

Living on a fixed income means I don’t have the means to pursue the treatments that give me the best chance to restore my health.

I am asking for help — financial, or by sharing my story — if it moves you.
