As many have heard, Wyatt has been through a very life changing experience. On June 26, Wyatt had been taken to Children’s Hospital north Campus after of weeks of being sick of what seemed to start off as your common cold. Although through those weeks of medicine, antibiotics and doctors appointments and phone calls he just seemed to dramatically get worse and worse. When he had arrived he was urgently rushed in and began being placed on oxygen and IVS until an ambulance arrived to bring him to the main Childrens Hospital campus in Aurora. Once he arrived to Aurora Wyatt seemed to decline even quicker. Wyatt went into cardiac arrest after heart failure when a breathing tube was placed and had to have 40minutes of CPR and was able to be placed onto an ECMO machine ( life support). We have come to discover that Wyatt has Pulmonary hypertension that we believe is in his lungs which also affects his heart.

Today (7/12/21) Wyatt is still in the ICU even though he has been off life support and the breathing tube has been removed. He still has a long road of recovery and a lot of medication and testing will be done in the weeks/months to come to help figure out the root/solution to his hypertension.

We are so blessed for everyone’s love and support . Everybody’s thoughts and prayers for Wyatt has given him a fighting spirit that has kept us all going.
