Hi, we are Mike and Akira (collectively known as CHAD). We're 18-year-old filmmakers based out of Eugene, Oregon who've been making movies together for almost a decade. “The Boy Who Never Tangoed” is our debut feature film project which we began writing when we were 16 and finished filming before we finished high school. This was purely a passion project, not school-related or part of a class project. It was motivated by our desire to pursue filmmaking in any way possible with the resources and funds we currently have. We did nearly every imaginable job on set by ourselves and with volunteer help from our local community. We put essentially all our money into making and what we've done so far to promote the film. The funds gathered from this GoFundMe would allow us to submit the film to as many film festivals as possible and be able to travel to said festivals, hopefully furthering the reach of this project and our filmmaking careers. Every donation big and small is appreciated.
