The Bowling Green will be sending a team of employees to compete in a Wetherspoons football tournament, all in aid of a fantastic cause, Young lives VS cancer.

Want to join me in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit Young Lives vs Cancer, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

The current team is as follows:

Oliver Midgley
Dean Bryon
Theo Jamieson
Alex Crawford
Harry Golding

The area heats take part on 14th September and the winning teams will go on to compete at the final at Wembley stadium!

The winning team will also have the opportunity to play in a tournament at St George's Park, home of the England football teams. Winning team members will stay and, using the same facilities as the men and women of the England
teams, be kitted out and coached through the tournament by a Premier League manager.

last year this event raised a whopping £350k for YLVC!

More information about Young Lives vs Cancer: When a child or young person is diagnosed with cancer, their whole world (and their family’s) can feel like it’s falling apart. Their anxieties are deep. Their education, mental health and social lives suffer. Their futures feel very uncertain.
Young Lives vs Cancer's specialist social workers provide tailored psychosocial support to children and young people with cancer, and their families.
We stop at nothing to make sure they can get the right care and support at the right time
