My name is Kelsey Packwood and I am the Writer/Creator of BORDERLINE. In the last 9 months my team has completed this pilot to help raise awareness for the long misunderstood mental illness, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). In order to continue the work there is an additional cost for marketing and screening fees. With this funding the project will accelerate at a much more rapid pace.

BPD is a mental disorder characterized by unstable moods, behavior, and relationships. What makes BPD stand out amongst the list of psychiatric disorders is the suicidal aspect of the illness. 90% of people with BPD will attempt suicide at least once in their lifetimes. 10% will be successful, leaving BPD with the highest rate of suicide for any psychiatric disorder. This is a personal topic for me, as I was diagnosed with BPD just 3 and a half years ago. To my surprise when beginning to research the illness I could not find a series that dove into the depths of BPD. So? I created one.

Our launch of the film continues to exceed expectations and our momentum continues to grow at a rapid speed. We would gladly accept any donation that could help us continue our efforts to share our message.

As we continue to develop our pitch for networks & streamers, we are excited to announce "The Borderline North American Tour". We will take the film to different cities and Universities offering educational Q&A's with world renowned BPD experts.

I couldn't be more excited to go on this journey and to have your support. I could not have made it this far without each and everyone person who donated to our campaign already. Every little bit makes a huge difference.

Thank you for making this dream a reality,

Kelsey Packwood

We know that mental health content can affect each of us in different ways. If you believe you may be experiencing symptoms of BPD, we encourage you to seek out a therapist who specializes in this area for the most accurate support and guidance. If you need immediate support, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7 across the U.S. And of course, please reach out to your therapist, counselor, or support system if you need to talk.
