"The Body", a Cleveland State University student film about Marcie, a girl who gets turned into a cyborg by her abusive ex-boyfriend, Eddie. This film explores themes of sexual abuse, stockholm syndrome, PTSD, and the emotional scars that follow.

Alyssa Randles, the director of this film, hopes to share and connect with an audience that relates to Marcie's character. As a first time director, she is excited to work with hardworking actors, and a tight knit crew.

Rory Galbraith, the producer of this film, plans to manage this production and help Alyssa achieve her vision. Rory has produced her own work in the past, but now she is branching out to produce a unique film that has a very emotional core and serious tone.

We are looking to raise $1,500 for the production of The Body. These funds will go to our intensive set design and makeup process, as well as providing meals for our crew on multiple shoot days.
