We are the Boba Bros!

Hi everyone, my name is Gavin Stella, and alongside my partner Nate Hilton, we’re excited to share our new venture with you. We’re both students at Eckerd College, and with the school’s support, we’ve been given the opportunity to start our very own on-campus business: selling Boba Tea to our fellow students.

We’re raising funds to cover startup costs like ingredients, supplies, and equipment to help us launch successfully and keep drinks affordable for our classmates.

Our stand is located in a central spot on campus near the food vendors, giving us great visibility and plenty of foot traffic. With very few drink options available on campus, we believe boba tea will quickly become a favorite choice for students looking for something refreshing and unique.

The closest competitor is a ramen shop about five minutes off campus, but since most Eckerd students live on campus without cars, we’re confident our location will make us the go-to spot for boba. On top of that, we’re running our business out of a café-style lounge provided by the school, which means no residency costs. That allows us to keep our prices lower than competitors while still offering the same great quality and making a fair profit.
