THE BLUEPRINT: A DNA Musical

"THE BLUEPRINT: A DNA Musical” is the product of four years of development by Sylvia Blair, a multidisciplinary songwriter and performer. The show takes a look at the science world in the 1950s and examines how diversity of thought, culture, religion, and gender play into the events surrounding esteemed Jewish biochemist Rosalind Franklin's historic scientific discovery. You can help bring this production to the next level! We will be presenting two workshop performances at The Tank theater in NYC on December 16th at 3pm and December 18th at 7pm. We are asking for a grand sum of $10,000 to properly compensate everyone involved in this production: 12 actors, 4 musicians, lighting and audio technicians, music and design assistance, and our production team of 5. These funds will also pay for video and photo documentation of the workshop which are crucial to getting this show to the next level.
