The Blueboys Christmas Appeal 2024

Happy holidays, dog lovers. You guessed it, we’re back at it again.

Over the past 10 years, we have been sharing pictures of Darren and Phillip online in hopes to show the public the true nature of Staffies and dogs like them. We're about spreading happiness in a way that has a subtle message that staffies and pitbulls alike are loving trustworthy animals that don't deserve the harsh judgement they often receive. Over the years we've spent our time online sharing our boys with the goal to make people smile and to see how truly wonderful Staffies are.

We're also incredibly passionate about helping rescue dogs, so far in 7 years our Darren and Phillip brand has successfully raised over $1.2 Million for rescue dogs through the sale of our yearly calendar, Darren and Phillip clothing and our last four Christmas Appeals held here on Go Fund Me.

This will be our eighth annual Christmas fundraiser on go fund me. Our goal is to donate as much money as we can to dog rescues to give them some funds to save as many dogs as they can right before Christmas. 2024 has seen one of the most difficult years in rescue.

Rescues are full to the brim with dogs and many more pouring through the doors. We are seeing more dogs than ever being euthanised because there is simply not enough room for the usual influx of dogs in pounds plus the thousands being surrendered by the public. There's a lot of pieces to the puzzle if we want to try to solve the problem. The rescues need more volunteers, more physical space to keep dogs and a LOT more funding to pay for necessary vet bills, food and training. Funding is a huge piece of the puzzle, the rescues we are donating to have no money and desperately need help to even keep taking animals in. With our help we can give them more than some of them would receive in an entire year. It's truly invaluable what we've been able to provide for these rescues and their dogs over the years and we can't wait to help them again this year. If we can get to our goal, it will be split between 11 rescues we've donated to in the past. These rescues are all desperately needing help right now.

They are all non for profit organisations that do fantastic work saving many animals every year. We have taken the time to get to know the groups we donate to and we know they will put every single dollar they receive to great use saving as many dogs lives as possible. As soon as the fundraiser ends, we will be taking the exact amount we have and splitting it up between the rescues. We always post proof of PayPal transfer receipts on our social media so you can see exactly where your donation has been sent. We want to give all of these rescues the best chance possible of saving as many dogs as they can right before Christmas.
