The Blanchard Family

Dear friends, as many of you know, my brother and his family have been living in India for the past five years.  This past spring they returned to the US to give birth to their fourth child.  Complications in utero shortly before birth resulted in an emergency C-section, an extended stay in the NICU at Phoenix Children's, and a several month delay in returning to their home and work in India.  The initial MRI showed significant brain damage for sweet baby Silas, and he has undergone several months of therapy.  Despite a very bleak outlook provided by many members of the medical profession, God has continued to have His healing hand upon Silas, and he has met several important milestones already.  Doctors are calling him a miracle and can't believe that Silas is the same baby whose MRI showed such severe brain damage.  It has been nothing short of amazing to watch our God work.  As you can imagine, the bills for medical care along with additional travel and living expenses for this period of time in the US have far exceeded the family income during this time.  Please prayerfully consider how you might come alongside this precious family to help alleviate some of their financial burden.
