Blaise Sherman is my best buddy since the second grade. He has to undergo open-heart surgery next week (~Wed., July 31), with an additional operation to be scheduled based on his healing rate. His work compensation doesn't come close to covering even his monthly rent. Blaise has been in Beaumont for the past 11 days, and the optimistic estimated return-to-work date is, if everything goes well, sometime in December.
