Update from Michaela: The past month our world has been cracking and yesterday our world shattered into a million pieces. Yesterday we had to make a hard decision to donate James’ organs. As he is getting worse by the day and there is no way his body can breathe on its own. Our hearts are broken knowing we are losing the best daddy, husband, son, and friend! We do not understand God's plan but I am certain that he is bigger than ours!
James wanted to be an organ donor and I believe this was his purpose. He is continuing to be a hero. Up to 4 families will get a call saying that their loved one is going to be saved by this amazing selfless man! This man who we will miss for as long as we live. Ella and Jack will have the best angel watching over them! Please pray for us, our friends and family who have to say goodbye to the most amazing man! You blessed our lives more than you will ever know James! We love you!
Yesterday they raised a flag in honor of James and as they did the sun came out and shortly after fire trucks drove by beaming their sirens!



Covid hit the Bissonette household in late August. The kids stayed healthy and Michaela thankfully recovered. Unfortunately, James has had an uphill climb since day one. James is currently in Lincoln at Bryan LGH East in the ICU, taking one day at a time.

 

Sadly we all know that with medical expenses rapidly piling up and missing work, finances can quickly become a concern. We are hoping to take some of the burdens and stress off of Michaela & James so they can focus on getting healthy first!
