Over a year ago my Uncle Joe was diagnosed with diabetes that led to an infection in his leg/ foot. As many of you know he has been in the hospital for over a week continuing to deal with this issue. After over a year of surgeries, doctors appointments, infections and lots of sickness, he has made the very tough decision to get his leg amputated from below the knee. This decision was made in the hopes of finally getting a resolution and allowing him to move on with his life and get back to some sort of normal. The last year, their family has struggled with Joe being out of work. They have done whatever they can do to get by with a smile on their face. Anyone who knows the Bisig family knows what generous, hard working people they are. They are givers not receivers. You would never know they were struggling because that’s just not who they are as people. They would give the shirts off their backs to anyone and always put themselves last. Several family members reached out to my aunt a week ago asking if we could start a go fund me and she said absolutely not. After a lot of convincing she has now agreed. They are the MOST deserving people. My aunt has worked 6 days a week, at 2 different jobs just to keep the family afloat. They still have a long road ahead until my uncle is back to work. In the meantime they will be accruing many hospital bills on top of what they already have for appointments, surgeries, etc. Not to mention the lost wages as my uncle has been out of work for so long and will be out of work for the unforeseen future. Any donation helps this loving, deserving family! Please share
