The Biondi Children's Future Fund

On Wednesday, September 30th, our dear friend Mike Biondi passed away unexpectedly. Mike was a friend, a colleague, a son, a brother, and an adoring husband and soulmate to his wife of 20 years, Nicole. He adored his three children: Nicholas (16), Carson (14) and Mia (10). He was deeply supportive and involved in his children’s favorite sport: swimming on the Crow Canyon Country Club Sea Lions swim team. This is a sudden and enormous loss for his family.


In addition to his dedication with his family, Mike’s touch on education in the East Bay was enormous. Many describe him as a calm, compassionate, and generous educator. His 23 year legacy in education started as “Señor Biondi,”  a spanish teacher at Charlotte Wood Middle School. He continued serving students and families as assistant principal at Charlotte Wood Middle School then principal at Country Club and Coyote Creek Middle School. He then moved into administration as the curriculum director at the San Mateo Foster City School District. Most recently he was assistant superintendent to the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District.


Mike was raised locally in Moraga and swam and played water polo for Campolindo. He then played water polo for UC Berkeley. He was always a huge Cal fan.


At this time Mike’s wife and three children need our love and support more than ever during this devastating event. His children are approaching college age and need support for their education. As we all know, Mike has been the first to help countless others in need, always with a calm and giving demeanor.

Mike will live on in all of our hearts.
