The Binz Family

Hi, my name is Sarah Hawkins and I am creating this account for Lisa Binz, the surviving widow of Peter Binz.

Peter was killed by a drunk driver who committed a hit-and-run as he was cycling on Herndon and Locan. Peter was training for the Century Ride in San Diego.

Peter was an avid cyclist, adventurer, world traveler, builder, husband, dog dad, uncle, brother, and son. Peter attended Sacred Heart Catholic School, graduated from Kingsburg High School and then went along to Fresno State where he worked in the field of Geometrics Engineering.

Peter loved to build, work on his Camaro, and was always knee-deep in countless projects to help others- especially his mother Judy. Peter was always thoughtful, inviting others to swim parties, BBQs, dinners, and more. There is so much more I want to say, but this account is for Lisa. This is for Lisa to not have to worry about the simple expenses in the next upcoming months as she becomes accustomed to this new terrible normal.
