Hi my name is Lauren and I am running 'The Big Swim' 2026!

The journey so far

Back in 2015, we held a number of events to

raise over £30,000 to renovate our school pool, the

interior of the building and the changing

rooms. It was the only way to save the pool

and continue to offer swimming lessons to

1,000s of children. Without the support of the

community, the pool would have closed.

Our current target

Building on the success of our fundraising

activities in 2015 we are holding a Sponsored

Swim to help raise funds for much-needed tiling,

painting and drainage works. HELP US RAISE £10,000 FOR

IMPROVEMENTS TO THE POOL!

There will be two fun afternoons on 28 June and 4 July, open to

children from 3+. They can swim as far as they

can in 30 minutes and be sponsored per width or

length, or simply for taking part!

The Big Swim is a fantastic way for children to

have fun and feel proud of supporting their pool.

Every splash, width and length will help us get

closer to our target so please cheer them on and support The Big Swim!
