Hi my name is Jacob and I'm 9 years old. Last month my cousin was diagnoised with lymphoma cancer, she has been so brave and I am really proud of her. When I found out she would loose all her beautiful hair I knew she would be sad so I told my mum I wanted to shave my head too. When I told all my friends on my football team what I wanted to do they all said they would do it with me, even my coach is joining in and my little brother.

We chose to raise money for the charity Candlelighters because they helped look after my cousin in hospital as well as all the other little boys and girls that have cancer. So please donate whatever you can, thank you. Jacob.

Cancer can affect anyone at anytime but when it happens to little children it somehow seems so unfair, my little niece is dealing with this horrible disease with such grace and strength we are so proud of her. We are raising as much awarness of this amazing charity as we can because they rely solely on donations, we would love to raise as much money as possible to give a little back to help them how they helped our family. Candlelighters from the second you are on the cancer ward, still processing your childs diagnosis are helping with accomadation, organising entertainment on the ward, helping finacially, emotionally, practically they are simply the light in the darkness on your worst days, so please donate whatever you can.
