The Big Guitar-in at The Florrie
We gathered 197 guitarists to play together in our grand hall to help us raise money for new musical equipment for our community classes. At The Florrie we host over 40hrs a week of community activities & events including our famous guitar group & ukulele class.
Our goal of £200 will allow us to buy a new wireless microphone system to help our volunteers leading activities. Any monies raised over this amount will allow us to buy a better system with more longevity as well as more equipment for the classes like new guitars for members to lend.

The Florrie is a charity at the heart of Liverpool 8. Our stunning, Grade II listed, Victorian community heritage venue is a social & educational hub for the people of south Liverpool.
Open Monday to Friday, we offer a wide variety of participatory activities for people of all ages, multi-purpose event spaces available for hire and fully inclusive workspaces for small local businesses & charities. We are also home to The Florrie Food Union a new initiative aimed at combating food poverty in Liverpool.
