My name is Charlotte and I am on a mission from Scotland to Greenland!
Like many I was relieved when lockdown restrictions were loosened - it was great to see people enjoying the great outdoors, but there was litter left everywhere.... LOADS of it!
Litter chokes our ecosystems, kills wildlife & makes our water systems toxic.
I want to clean up all the litter I can.
I started in my local area and I have extended out as restrictions allow. Already I've collected bin bags worth of old camping equipment, loads of plastic bottles, cans, plastic wrappers, face masks, fireworks, loads of shoes (how do you lose your shoes?) and many other things to put you off your dinner.
This year I hope to clean up the ~100 miles of the West Highland Way too and as always, recycle as much as possible.

I am raising funds (and training!) to film an expedition & environmental documentary in Spring 2022.
I’ve been invited to shoot - and take part in - a world record long distance attempt in Greenland where I also hope to document the impacts of climate change in one of the most remote places in the world.
I’ll be able to get myself there to join the small team, but in order to successfully create a film with impact (and not die in a crevasse) I need a little help…! Any extra funds will be donated to UK environmental charities. For more about the expedition check it out here
