This year our country is celebrating its 250 anniversary!

My friends and I wish to honor those who have dedicated their lives to this amazing experiment called the United States of America.

So, we decided to ride most of the Empire State Trail in New York.

We plan to fly to Buffalo, tour Niagra Falls, follow the Erie Canal from Buffalo eastward to Albany, and then south to Battery Park in the city of Manhattan.

Therefore, we are launching this GoFundMe campaign to support the incredible work of the Gary Sinise Foundation. This organization is dedicated to serving our nation’s defenders—veterans, active service members, first responders, and their families—especially during their most challenging times. Together, we can ensure they receive the support and recognition they deserve.

We’re bringing students to places where history becomes real, from The National WWII Museum to the 9/11 Memorial. We’re also providing scholarship opportunities for family members of fallen or disabled heroes and workshops for the leaders of tomorrow.
