The Bible Women's Project Goes to Scotland Fringe Festival
Donation protected
The Bible Women’s Project is a theatrical experience like none other! Using true stories from cast members alongside stories of women in the Holy Bible, this play seeks to empower and validate women across and through spectrums. It features comedy, music, dance, and raw conversation. The play was developed using story circles in 2014 with women at Eastern Nazarene College, grew in its tour with Pariah Theatre Company, and further expanded at Salve Regina University. Our next step is Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland! Help get us there!
Audience members have said, “You have to see this. It’s not what you think!”
“This is for everyone - no matter what gender you are or what religion you are.”
”I was moved by how much it addressed issues about race in the Bible.”
”I loved how funny it was but also how hard things were to watch and listen to.”
”I walked away learning more about the Bible and what women deal with than any other experience taught me.”
”I’m glad I came. I literally feel changed.”
These funds help pay for housing, airfare, advertising, venue rental. As a special Scotland addition, we are looking for people to donate in the name of a specific woman’s story in the Bible that means something to you. We encourage you to donate $100, share the name and citation, and what the Bible woman means to you. In exchange we will ensure her name and meaning are communicated in the Scotland production!
Support and share! Thank you.
