The Bexley Family

Since Sara’s last update at the end of November, her vision has improved with even the double vision going away.  On Dec 6th she started her 15 radiation treatments that ended on the 27th. The main side effects from radiation that we knew to expect were cumulative fatigue and some hair loss around the radiation site which has happened. We were hopeful that the radiation wouldn’t effect her vision but unfortunately on December 29th her double vision came back. It’s a mentally taxing side effect to deal with and is a pretty big setback, especially considering how she was feeling and doing before radiation. This setback has also delayed her being able to drive. On top of that, our master bath flooded 2 days before Christmas so we have been dealing with that mess.  Her most recent MRI of her brain was all clear which is a huge praise. We are ready to turn the page on 2021 and January brings new hope for healing and prayer that her eyes begin to heal again from the inflammation and trauma of radiation. It also brings a reset of insurance deductibles and dealing with the bathroom mess. We are beyond grateful for the continued love and support we have received through the meal train, go fund me fundraiser and most importantly prayers. All of the money raised will go directly to the Bexley Family to help cover medical expenses and basic needs.
