The best guy you could ever meet, Kevin Jaramillo

I don’t know where to begin so I’m just going to say that if you had the honor of meeting Kevin, count yourself lucky. He was my cousin, the kindest of us all, he looked out for others before himself — imagine the character in the movie that the writers intentionally made super likable so when something unfortunate happens to them it hits you in the heart. That story became my families reality. Most will describe him as “shy” or “serious” but the ones who really knew him will say he was “honorable, funny, and charming.” Kevin was one of those kids that you knew was going to make it somehow. He was a hard worker, from helping his mom clean houses at a young age to landing his dream job working with vintage cars. We’re asking for donations because the reality of this life is that it’s expensive to die. Kevin was 18, graduated this year when he was taken from us so emotionally and financially — no one was prepared. Our goal is set to cover most of the funeral costs and would appreciate any help. If monetary support is something you can’t offer, emotional support would be accepted in the form of a visit, text or call to make sure his parents, Juan Manuel and Liset and two younger sisters, Chantal and Yaretzy are okay.

I know I’m not the only one who shares this sentiment but I’m just blessed to have grown up with that man, I’ll love him until it’s my time.
