RIP Please help!! The best Dad and Grandad, Chris.

Hi, my name is Tee, it is with a heavy heart I make this fundraiser. On the 6th October 2024 at 4pm, my beloved Dad unexpectedly gained his wings and joined my Mum in the clouds. His passing had been following ill health for many years, many of which became worse after my Mums passing in 2015. We have been advised we have around a week (14th October approx) to pay for the funeral in full (£3693) before any procedures can take place. We have placed him with the funeral directors that handled our Mums last journey with the utmost dignity and respect. We ask now if anyone would be willing to help us give our Dad the send off he deserves and rejoin our Mum in peace, together.

The love my Mum and Dad had for each other is something you don’t see everyday. They brought us into this world and gave us the craziest but most loving siblings anyone could ask for. It all started with love notes back and forth in 1998, they were attached at the hip until my Mum passed of cancer after a long 5 week battle in hospital. Dad and my siblings banded together and pushed to get through, and this time we have to do it without the support of our parents. My Dad left behind beautiful granddaughters (another grandchild on the way) who loved him all the world, along with the 6 of us siblings struggling through.

We have planned the funeral to the best of our abilities and with the support of each other, however financially we are not in the place we would like to be to give my Dad the send off he deserves, even without adding the cost of flowers and wake, due to it being such a sudden and unexpected loss.
