What this campaign will fund:
The Monson Public Library is looking to raise $2,000 that will fund museum quality framing of ten Berenice Abbott science photographs that will be placed on permanent display in the library. Plans are currently underway to have the framed prints on exhibit to coincide with a presentation by Berenice Abbott's most recent biographer, Julia Van Haaften, plus other events to celebrate photographer Berenice Abbott.

About the Monson Public Library:
The Monson Public Library is a small, rural library serving 654 residents in Monson, Maine and its neighboring communities. The Library received ten science prints done by Berenice Abbott several years ago. The Library moved from the Town Office to a larger location (the former Monson Elementary School) where there is adequate wall space to display the prints once they are framed.
