In times of crisis and heartbreak, the creatives create. They cultivate hope for others. They do it through the stories they tell, the songs they write, and music they make. The encouragers encourage. The ministers share Christ. It’s our calling. And as our family looks around us at the current climate, it’s no surprise that for several months God has been inspiring us to step out once again, minister across the country and make new music! We are feeling the call to record a project of new songs, filled with lyrics of hope to touch the heart of those who need to be encouraged! For those that need to hear about the love of Jesus Christ. The last 10 years have been a whirlwind of change for us. We went from traveling full time in Gospel Music as The Beene Family, to saying goodbye to that season of our life. But God reminded us then that He wasn’t done with us. He who began a good work would be faithful to complete it! So, without the the family, we continued on in ministry as Brandon and Chrysta. We sang wherever God opened doors for us. And we have done that for the last 10 years. But we so missed having the family on stage, the harmony and our Gospel roots. There was actually a season that we thought it was finished and there would be no more music. We had no idea that God had other plans, and 10 years later our own daughter (who at one point wanted nothing to do with the platform) would join us on stage! We are a family ministry group again and looking forward to what God has for us! We look forward to being back on the road when the time is right to share the gospel through music across the country. We are starting a brand new recorded project these next few months that we are so excited! We are thrilled with the songs and can’t wait to share them with you! There will be new original songs and a few recognizable favorites as well! This recording will be the very first project that we will make available on digital formats. And we will be tapping back some into our Southern Gospel roots! However, as a independent recording artist, we have no record label to finance the cost of this project. This project will partially be funded personally. But a project is a big and expensive undertaking. We are so needing the help of our friends, family, and ministry partners to reach this goal!
