The beard for ball
Most of you know I suffer from Cystic Fibrosis, so I take every opportunity I can to do something a bit different each
year to help raise money for charity close to my heart CF. This year it comes in the form of a beard.
I was fortunate enough to have a daughter on the 14th May 2020 and haven’t shaved since. Initially I said I’d keep it until the Raptors lost in the playoffs (Sep 11th).... but after a few beers and some egging on!
The goal posts moved to ‘Beard for the Ball’ I agreed to keep growing it on the basis people support and give to a charity.
I’ll post regular pictures and agree to keep it until the Blue Jays win or lose MLB playoffs. That means 150 days of growth, so given all the generosity I am aiming for $3000 ($20 a day)

More information about Cystic Fibrosis Canada/Fibrose kystique Canada: For us, it's a matter of when a cure or control for cystic fibrosis (CF) will be discovered, not if. Cystic Fibrosis Canada is one of the world's top charitable organizations committed to finding a cure for CF, the most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults. Since our establishment in 1960, our investments in research and cutting-edge healthcare have resulted in the estimated median age of survival for Canadians with CF to increase beyond 50 years of age.
