Hello everyone! As you all know Ellie and Merrick were born at 31 weeks due to severe IUGR (intrauterine growth restriction) and me having pre eclampsia. Ellie weighed 2lbs 6oz and Merrick weighed 1lb 11oz. Because of their low birth weight they had to stay in the NICU for an extended period. Not to mention that Merrick had a really rough time gaining weight for his open heart surgery, which extended his time in. Merrick also has had to have 2 other hospital stays due to health issues and possibly another in the future. Our insurance has been great in covering most of the babies needs. Unfortunately after a hefty combined bill of 1.60m, we are left with a 15,000 bill. It hurts to have to write this and ask of you guys..but any amount donation is appreciated immensely.
