Hi. Im John Corker. I am a friend of David Batty and I'm raising funds to help him recover from the bushfire that swept through his property near Bermagui on Tuesday 3 October.

Luckily the house and the shack survived but only just. Tragically they lost a full solar array, the Nissan G60, a lot of tools, a shed, two motor bikes, all David's camping gear, the car fridge, a huge pile of freshly cut hardwood for his son Jack to build a house, and lots of other stuff. Two water tanks were destroyed and need replacing and there is a massive clean up job.

Many of you will have enjoyed time at the Batland Sanctuary and David's legendary

hospitality.
