The Battle That Never Ends Video Where it all began
-Jennifer DeGraaf 2025
In 2013, a whisper came,
A shadow written in my name.
Breast cancer knocked—unyielding, cold,
And life was shaken, stories retold.
I fought with fire, with love, with prayer,
With doctors’ hands and family’s care.
Scars became medals, tears became rain,
I carried the weight, and still I remained.
But in 2016, the storm grew deep,
It reached my brain, it stole my sleep.
A war inside where no one sees,
Yet still I stood on trembling knees.
Now, years have passed, the fight returns,
New tumors rise, my spirit burns.
I do not ask for pity’s hand,
I ask for strength, to make this stand.
Because every pill, each drop, each trial,
Gives me the chance for one more smile.
One more sunrise, one more song,
One more day to prove I’m strong.
So if you hear my battle cry,
Please know it’s love that keeps me alive.
Give what you can—be it hope, be it prayer,
Or a dollar to arm me for the war I bear.
For cancer wages without end,
But with your help, my soul won’t bend.
Together we’ll fight, together we’ll see,
That hope is stronger than any disease.
My goal is to reach $9020 by my birthday, September 20th... Anyone that donates will have access to this story (until the very end)! PLEASE HELP ME. Look Where I Started...
