The battle against Parkinson's
Travis was diagnosed with early onset Parkinsons in the fall of 2017. For the first handful of years, symptoms were manageable, and life went on as normal. However, over the last few years, the progression of the disease and the debilitating side effects of the medication have rapidly downgraded Travis's daily activities and quality of life.
Travis is scheduled for DBS (deep brain stimulation) surgery this coming November. This will greatly help reduce the symptoms caused by Parkinsons and the side effects of excessive medication. Thus reducing tremors, stiffness, slowness, and the dyskinesias. Overall, improving the quality and functions of daily life.
