Hello! These are my friends, the newlywed Battens, Brooklen and Jeremy. They are 24 weeks pregnant with triplets, and have run in to some pretty big medical problems that are now becoming an unexpected financial struggle.
At their most recent appointment, the Battens were given the heavy news that one of their babies isn’t doing as well as one would hope, and they will be having to make some very heavy decisions, and then the babies will be born much sooner than planned. With the condition their baby is in, admission to the hospital is imminent for Brooklen in the next few weeks.
In the mean time, Brooklen and Jeremy now have double the appointments, all of which are an hour away, and 3 kiddos that still have school, sports, and childcare needs, because life keeps going!
We are asking for the help of those who can, to donate towards gas money for travel to and from appointments, help with meals and childcare or transportation needs for kiddos while both Brooklen and Jeremy are in the hospital up until, and then with the sweet Batten babies.
