WE ARE EXPANDING!!!

It is with massive excitement that I am finally able to share it with all of you that The Base Studio will be moving into a new space in the first trimester of 2024. Before I go into details on what is coming, I just want to take a moment to reflect on the journey so far.

The Base Studio is the fruit of 6 years of community building. What began as a side business (teaching classes from the comfort of my own home on a daily basis), has evolved into a full-time project with the opening of our studio space in October 2021. The Base Studio has grown beautifully and organically by word of mouth, without advertising, and by staying true to our core values.

The Base Studio is a place dedicated to dance, movement, and well-being. It offers pole, dance, and movement classes to people of all genders, ages, shapes, sizes, and fitness levels. Its values are based on the personal fulfillment of each of our customers within a warm and welcoming community. To come to The Base Studio is to surround yourself with positivity and kindness. We're committed to providing a space where people can feel at home and be themselves.

Our current studio space has allowed us to grow in a controlled way, welcome new faces and allow us to build a strong community, but it also limits the number of customers we can welcome and the number of classes we can run. And for a while now, we have reached our max in the current space. I have been waiting patiently until the perfect space would come along which would allow us to take a big leap, open a bigger studio and continue to develop our offers to our members and grow into its full potential. And that time has finally come!

Currently, we have a group of amazing people working to get the new space ready for us, which is a big investment, as you might be able to imagine. The new space will be divided into two studios (42m2 and 48m2) with beautifully high ceilings, enabling us to run several activities at the same time. A chill area to come and work, meet, exchange, and develop projects, as well as a changing area with lockers and a bathroom. With community being such an important aspect of The Base Studio, we'll be able to provide an environment where our current and new clients can meet, share and learn together.

For those who would like to help us with this big new chapter, I have created this go fund me page. The investment is immense both on a business and a personal level, and I am very happy to do this, but a little help would be very (very) appreciated. Your donations would be put towards the purchase of lockers to store your belongings in, the poles, the decorations for our space, class materials (such as yoga & crash mats) and, if ever we can, other aerial equipment (such as hoops, silks etc.). Please feel free to make a donation that feels right for you – every little bit helps and will make us feel very grateful!
