The Barlaan Family Fund

GoFundMe scholarship fund will help Grace and Jameson with college expenses.  Their father, Mark had planned to work until they were through college. Mark Barlaan, age 58, was taken from us suddenly on Friday, July 3, 2020. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He is known for his cooking and gathering of friends and family at birthdays and holidays. He worked for many years at Bank of America and is beloved by his coworkers. When he wasn’t in the kitchen he could be found enjoying working on his lawn or being a regular volunteer at the Charlotte Rescue Mission. He was also a faithful Christian and loved serving the church.
He will be remembered for his smile, laugh, and great food he prepared.
In addition to Grace and Jameson, Mark is  survived by his wife Josie, daughters Jolina and Jamie, four grandkids, mother Monina, and brother Russ.
