Memorial Path for the Baran Family
Donation protected
On Saturday, November 7, 2020, our fellow Walsh Jesuit alum, Lindsay (Hawke) Baran (Class of '98) lost her precious son, Vincent, to a tragic accident.
Vinny was a ray of sunshine, full of imagination, laughter and joy. There are no words to describe the profound loss his passing brings to Lindsay, her husband, Ben, their three children and their entire extended family.
Vinny was buried in the cemetery directly behind the Baran home. The goal of this campaign is to raise funds to create a memorial path, including a set of steps, that would allow the family to easily visit Vinny's grave whenever they would like.
While this is the intended use for the funds raised, we recognize that the family may have many other needs and would like them to be able to use the funds at their discretion for whatever they deem most necessary.
Thank you in advance for your support of the Baran family. They truly embody what it means to be Men and Women for Others, and this is our chance as the Walsh Jesuit Community to come around them in solidarity and love at this unimaginably difficult time.
