Hi, my name is Jack Judson. I am a Junior at Purdue University and I am starting a project called The Baja Hope Initiative. This project is a fundraiser for a school in the middle of the barrios of Cabo San Lucas. Just 15-20 minutes away from this very poor area are all of the amazing properties that you see tourists at, and nobody has a clue. I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet the lady who runs this school, named Patty. She watches over the children of this school every day of the week, and weekend. These kids go home to 4 days of running water if they are lucky, abusive fathers who don't show any interest in them, and their only meal of the day is sometimes the one they get at the school. This goal of $12,000 is set to provide a teacher for these kids to help them learn how to read and write, and ultimately, have a sense of hope and happiness for tomorrow. Anything over the goal will be used to buy each individual kid a Christmas gift. I remember the moment all of the 4 year olds ran up to me and hugged me, I told myself there isn't a thing I wouldn't do to help them, and trust me, you would as well.
So please, help donate, help spread the word, and let's give these children hope for a better tomorrow!
