the Bailey Family Hurricane Healing

The Bailey Family was a fixture in our hometown of Harrison, Arkansas for decades. Ken & Shellie raised their 3 daughters in that sleepy little town and then moved to Florida to be near Kristin so she could help care for them as they aged. Aging comes with declining health, and a few years ago, Caroline and her family joined her sister and parents in Florida to help share the work of caring for their amazing parents.

Unfortunately, Kristin and Caroline both were deeply affected by both Hurricane Milton and Hurricane Helene. While they were able to evacuate their parents and their families safely, both of their homes were flooded and their belongings are a total loss. While they have basic insurance for the structures, there is no coverage available for the contents of their homes. They are now both tasked with rebuilding their lives while also caring for their parents. The devastation in the area they live is tremendous, and federal aid is likely months away. Their losses are insurmountable, and there are no readily available resources to even begin to replace the household items that are needed for daily life. Additionally, the expenses associated with their emergency evacuation depleted the savings they did have.

They are a loving family suffering a great loss, and your support in their recovery is greatly appreciated.
